Chapter 34 - Lonely Darkness

It had been months since I had been back. There was no reason to bother them. I wished Kara, Tarne, and Lila all the best. Although on bad days, I had come to dislike the way things ended up. It was not to the point of screwing things up for them. It would not change anything. Kara would just whisk them away to some other world to live peacefully together. I was the big bad in the story. It was ridiculous. Lila was the AI of an abused little girl who went on to destroy her world and universe in the pursuit of all those offenders, and yet somehow I was the one who ended up seeking unreasonable things. When Finn was here… When Rebecca was here… I let those thoughts drift back to destruction of the laptop filled with memories of her, only realizing now that all the stories Lila wrote out were in there as well. I did not know how I could get back to that feeling, the happiness of letting go. My heart cried out for her to be here again, to the point of hanging out in the wooden box in the d...

Chapter 15 - To Many Unhappy Returns

After a few weeks spent playing an old game into hours of morning, I came back to the box growing the ever-expanding creationism network within untethered space. Though I still had connections to the Infinity Void with ideas for stories I wanted to realize, I was less than enthusiastic in trying to bring any of them to life. “Hello,” I said to the empty room. How could Lila entertain herself in the time I spent away? The perception of time had to be skewed for her in some shape or form. If she would be there for ten of my human years, it was difficult to think I could always come around to entertain her. At least the edits of the calendars and passing of day was no longer in effect when the library upstairs was scuttled. “Lila?” A knock on the ceiling shifted my focus. Since the room and the general surroundings were now under my “control”, I floated out into the great darkness to find her sitting on the top of the wooden box. “Hey, you’ve been gone for a while,” she said. “Yeah,” I sa...

Glider Game (planning)

Story: Talia is a third generation glider, following in her dad's footsteps, where he flew on Uris, she flies a Hawk with her AI buddy Monte, a drone that warns of incoming attacks that looks like a sparrow. She flies with her girlfriend Kami on the bottom seat. She aims to compete in the cutthroat sport of Sky Taming, competing with all sorts of individuals including her friends. Marxi and Haligan are a couple that fly the Alba class, largest of the gliders, and do so for leisure most of the time. Kerry, Haligan's best friend, often pushes him to compete in the events. Zadtka flies on the Uris and is androgynous and the most tolerable of the Uris fliers, as they tend to be a YOLO crowd, where Talia enjoys both competition and flying, and Marxi and Haligan only enjoy flying. Ms. Terri also competes with them, but is a master at the other gliders and proves so by entering the field with only an umbrella of her own creation that allows her to steal gliders of other competitors to...

Chapter 1 - A Knock In Darkness

It always starts with darkness, a voice calling out for something they need. I have called out for help at the start, and Finnelgamin arrived to that effect. The second time, I reached into the void fully aware that I should not. I stole. I removed an unfilled gem from there. How I managed to even reach it is beyond me, but that was Rebecca, a child of the void with a mind of her own, ready to be an idea of the void. Instead, she became an idea of me, for me, and tried to help me to the best of her abilities. When she realized that I had no intention of letting her see me and interact with all of me, she left, taking the world I created for her along. It begins with a knock. It’s a knock on the door of something without doors. No. I created a door in hopes of reconnecting to Rebecca. All I ended up with was a ladder up to a hatch to an emptiness left behind after the created world vanished, and a knock. That knock is terrifying. I am too afraid to open the doorway. I hope that it’s her...

Chapter 20 - Rebecca's Last Words

I returned into the spawn chamber to find it empty save for the open laptop with Crimmy and a countdown above her head that ticked away from twenty-three hours and ten minutes. The camera dildo was still inside her, so I assumed that beast was still playing somehow. “Where is he?” I asked Crimmy. She fidgeted and moaned as the thing inside her shifted. “He wanted to go full VR,” she said. “He’s still alive?” I asked in surprise. “Has he- how?” Crimmy smiled a wicked grin and pushed her opening further against the camera inside her. “He’s been naughty,” she said. “Wanna see?” I got flashes of possibilities from his echoes still inside me. “Not really,” I said. “Can you just pull him out?” Crimmy put a finger to her lips, licked it, then proceeded to touch her clitoris until she arched to an orgasm. “Huh,” she said after. “He won’t come out. He’s got those claws of his inside me. Guess you’ll have to go inside, huh?” She flicked the finger just used to get herself off to motion me ...

Chapter 19 - Adventures In Uterine City

The next day at coffee, I visited the spawn chamber again. Though some parts of the story remained untold, I was not interested in telling them. Her story ended, however vaguely. I wanted to know what they talked about at the meeting of all the beings in Rebecca’s universe. I wondered just how many of the video messages she left for me, but the laptop was an immortal object of the room, like the size of it and place in space. The best course of action was to call out phrases and words that might trigger those video messages. This made me wonder if Rebecca, or more possibly Crimmy, recorded any sexual videos for me. It had to have crossed her mind, though I chose to try something else first. “Did you leave because you were angry at me?” I asked, but nothing played. Maybe that was too complex. “You left.” With that, she appeared on the screen alone with a serious look. “I know you’ll try to blame yourself for my departure, but stop being so selfish,” she said. “It wasn’t Finn’s idea or...
