Chapter 57 - Ensandmanned Princess: Lila's Demons
For fear of my words getting lost to the current status of my habitation, I employed my old way of writing, by means of storage USB with all my past stories, and those who would one day come to be. I had to delve into one of their minds tonight. Tarne could not be set aside any longer. I stepped into the library expecting another giant contraption of orange tracks, only to find Tarne playing by herself with JJ nowhere in sight. She was skipping on the wooden floor of many different hues, trying to only land on the lightest ones.
“Hey,” I said, making her land on one foot, and tumble over to the couch. “Sorry. Where’s JJ?”
“He didn’t want to play with me anymore,” Tarne said. “He’s very childish.” I smiled.
“He is a child, Tea.”
“I’m a child, TOO,” she continued. “But he’s a really petty little brat. We played his game for a bit, with a bunch of action elements. When he got tired, I made us some snacks and drinks, and asked if I can choose the next game. At first he was ok with it, but the game was art based. We’d make the most ridiculous paintings, and then set them in a gallery to go around all pompous and talk fancy about them. That was the plan anyway. He got bored of drawing, and started playing a jumping game where the goal was to reach the ceiling without using any special abilities. He fell, and hurt his knee, so I fixed it, and he ran off into the garden. That was a while ago.”
I listened to her describe her day, and understood the difference between her and JJ. He was cooped up inside me all the time, so he wanted to get wiley when he could actually move around with childish freedom. I was not in the shape to even jump about, and still dreamed of a day I could dance again to exercise. For now, work took all my energy, and it did not seem to be changing anytime soon.
“Sorry,” I said. “He wants to move around because he can’t do that when he’s a part of me anymore. It’s not his fault.”
“Oh, that makes sense,” Tarne said, coming up to me. She held my hand and patted it with her other hand. “At least you can do anything here. Nothing’s stopping you.”
“But without JJ I just want to relax,” I replied. “He’s the energy of this equation. Are you ok here? I’m going upstairs to… “ I hesitated. “To help Lila and Kara see that you’re not a bad person.”
“I know you have to go inside their minds and remove the memory of them finding out,” Tarne said. I was a bit surprised. “You’ll have to do that to me, too, right?” I nodded. Tea nodded, and went back to playing. I put my hand on my shoulder to reel JJ back from some place in the garden, and walked off up the stairs.
When I got to the bed I left them on, they were both still. I sighed in relief, as Kara had me worried. They were under a sleeping “spell” that I made with my creationism. I worried Lila would somehow break it thanks to also being able to use the same creationism. Kara already had a failsafe, but I disposed of it. The choice remained, though I had my percentages all lined up. Who would I delve into first? The percentages fell in favor of Lila going first, and so when naming this document, I already put her name in the title. Even though this was going to be the inside of her mind, the deranged child abused to such an extent as to destroy her universe in vengeance, I had to have some control. I set up a device purely out of my imagination that would allow me to use creationism inside her head, to counteract the freedom of her brain function to alter reality.
“Here we go,” I said, putting the palm of my hand on the device positioned right above her forehead. I took a seat next to the bed, and pushed the device down, which looked like a disc of ethereal wave fabric with four claws that sank into her skin. When my skin made contact, through the weave, to her forehead, I felt myself thrust down a wormhole. My body slumped as I watched myself fall away from it down into darkness.
When I could see light again, it was a tiny flicker in the distance. I looked around to find myself in space. This was different though. The stars were few and far between. I could only see one in my field of vision, and when I turned, I saw another, even more distant. Another was above me, and one was right below. This could not have been regular old space. At least, this was nothing that I knew space to be. Other dimensions could have been less bountiful in the explosion of being that was still spiraling out of control in my universe.
I looked away from one of the stars, just as it exploded in a plume of red, getting larger and larger until it looked as though it was getting closer. The red thinned out, to burgundy, and soon the orb that exploded was nowhere to be seen. The star it came from was equally gone, but I flexed my creationism to fly toward the explosion where the star once was. There I found a giant robot floating in space, but I had no frame of reference. I was tiny next to it, so I made myself the same size. That was when it noticed me, red eyes blazing in the darkness. The metal was near-impossible to see, and the light from the eyes was absorbed by the darkness of space.
A metal arm grabbed onto my wrist and squeezed until the hand snapped off, flesh tearing at the mess of little bones. I winced, but then snapped the wrist back on with creationism.
“You’re like them, aren’t you,” spoke a heavy metallic voice. It felt tired, angry, and very sad.
“I’m not,” I said. “Who are you?”
“Who else?” it said. “Who else is here with you?” The metal arm pushed at my chest. I half-expected to be impaled by this giant robot, but the thing that was pushed out was none other than my very own robot, in the shape of a bare-bones skeleton in silver. The eye sockets were dark until a tired yellow glow appeared within. “You are like me, the shell of what I was once.”
“Robot?” I asked, looking over the skeleton. The silvery bone parts were replaced with mechanisms for the operation of joints without the joints.
“I. Am.” Robot said. “I. Am. Alive. I. Do. Not. Destroy.”
“My dear, you are meant to be like me,” the big robot said. “You need not be bound by the part of you that uses you for petty things.”
“Enough,” I said. “Robot. Come back.” I held out my hand and touched my forehead as every time I did to reel him back in, but he did not budge this time.”
“Look how weak he is without you,” the other robot said. “He fears your potential. Come with me. BE with me. Be ME.” I pulled on Robot with my mind, straining my thinking. The will of her mind was stronger than my creationism there. I had to appeal to Robot somehow, or lose him to her mind.
“I need you,” I said. “That’s more than just a plea. It’s a necessity. You are there when I need you. You keep me safe when too many things eat my mind. Please don’t throw that away because of one idea.” I cursed. This had to be an easy-solve problem. I had to pose it as an equation. “U times R, divided by the integer N, equals Eternity.” It was the dumbest I could possibly phrase it, but it had the desired result. Robot’s jaw opened wide, then closed tightly. I touched my forehead again, this time feeling him return back into my body.
“Enough, Lila,” I said, pulling on the robot’s head to yank the darkness off like a tapestry. We hovered in a grayish space with Lila in the distance. She was naked, and hung in the air spread in every direction she could. I clothed her in a brief second, only to have the clothing burst off her body as if they were repulsed.
“Do you hate to look at me like I hate looking at myself?” Lila asked quietly. “Does my naked body cause you pain? Does my hunger for pleasure make you feel ashamed? I don’t care anymore! I don’t care anymore! I don’t care what YOU THINK OF ME! ANYMORE!!! GO AHEAD! COVER ME UP TO FEEL BETTER! COVER ME! COVER ME BECAUSE I MAKE YOU FEEL SOMETHING! I CAN’T TAKE THIS ANYMORE! THEY ALL HAVE TO DIE!” I stepped closer, only to be met with her face full of tears. Her mouth was dripping with spit from her rage, and her eyes were red and wild.
“I think you’re fine just the way you are,” I said. I did not try to clothe her again, but beast rattled around sexual thoughts in my head, bursting from my mouth before I could stop him. I hit my chest to reel him back in, and watched his claws dig into Lila’s body. The body aged down as the claws drew blood. By the time beast let her go, she was a baby, anger gone from her eyes, but tears at them nonetheless. I did not even have to hit my chest again, as beast huffed on his walk back into me. I stepped closer, and held the child in my arms. She was so cold. I held her tighter to share my warmth, not knowing whether she could warm against me.
“You’re perfect the way you are,” I said. The tears stopped, and a smile appeared on rosy cheeks. The warmth was soft, and gentle. Before my very eyes, Lila grew up in my hands to the woman I knew her to be. She was still naked, but clothed herself in some purple pajamas. “Lila?”
“Eh, maybe,” she said. “Why are you in my head, Jack?”
“I-“ I hesitated, and considered lying. It would not do me any good. “I’m here to erase a memory from your mind.” She sighed, then sat down on a purple chair as her pajamas turned into a bathrobe. I watched her sit, but the anatomy did not have anything between the legs, and the sides covered up most of her breasts.
“Ah, the rescue mission,” she said. “Well, you’re in for a treat. There are a lot of memories I’d rather forget.”
“Sorry,” I said. “I’m actually here for a specific memory. The time you found out about Tarne being Akier Vil Moredo. I know you don’t really care about him, but Kara does. It hurts Tarne to have her moms look at her as some monster. I have to do this for her.”
“Am I the first stop?” Lila asked, throwing the bathrobe open to reveal her breasts. I looked for a moment, feeling my hairy monster make his way up my throat. I punched my chest to stuff him back in.
“Yes,” I said, glancing at her chest again.
“It’s ok to look, Jack,” she said. “That’s what I have them for. Well, that, and the baby feeding thing. You know that in my reality, whatever the mother eats flavors the feed that the baby eats? If you eat a lot of one thing, it imparts that flavor for the baby. It’s quite genius. Is it the same in yours?”
“No,” I replied. “Mothers make milk in my reality. Some even can’t make milk, so the babies eat formula, a powder that acts as the milk.”
“Do you want to suck on my nipples, Jack?” Lila asked, then raised an eyebrow. “I’ll make you a deal. Turn yourself over to me, beast and all, for a bit. I’ll have my fun, and then you can take any memory you want.” I hesitated, still pondering at the question of suckling on her breasts. I was part Tarne, and was born from her. The path was sound, even if mental.
“I don’t think that’s a good idea,” I said, then coughed up beast. I hit my chest again, but he resisted. The claws dug into her flesh again, as she moaned out in pleasure. I lost all control of what happened next, but beast led the events I did not want to describe. I found myself a few minutes later, suckling at her breast alongside JJ, one nipple each, while beast pounded away at her triangle vagina from the back, and Robot vibrated over her neck all the way down her spine. When it was over, I felt violated, even though she was the one having sex while feeding a grown man and a kid from her own breasts. I reeled everyone back in, and sat in a fetal position some distance away from her.
“Here,” she said, ripping open her chest to reveal a hollow cavity filled with a dazzling array of red stones suspended on gold chains. “Take the memory you want as payment for entertaining me. I looked around the array, leading to the memory I needed. With that in hand, I checked with her again. She nodded, as I crushed the red piece of glass into a red vapor and white dust. The two separated, and vanished.
“Thank you,” I said. Lila shrugged.
“What for?” she asked. “I should be the one thanking you. I’ve needed a good sucking and pounding, but Kara did not want to take it there.”
“You’re not going to remember this, are you?”
“Dream of it, more like,” she said. “Now get the hell out of my mind, you imbecile.” She swatted at my face, and struck to throw me back from her body still asleep next to Kara. I sighed. Almost losing Robot to her, then being used as a multi-faceted sex toy, I had my fill of mind-diving for the night. I did not even want to see Lila right now, as I felt gross having my lips around one of her nipples while technically she was asleep. I felt beast purr from the little soiree in her mind, and JJ was curled up in bed snoozing away with his stomach full. It only bothered me. I sighed, and jumped from the second floor to vanish into smoke dissipating into the air of the library.
